ELMHURST, Ill. - Elmhurst College head men's tennis coach
Anthony McPherson has announced his team's 2010 recruiting class. A pair of student-athletes have made a commitment to attend Elmhurst College with plans to play tennis for the Bluejays in the 2010-11 season.
Alex Harbert (Saint Joseph, Mich./H.S.)
A four-year letterwinner at Saint Joseph High School, Harbert was a four-time all-conference and all-region selection. He earned all-state accolades during his junior and senior seasons. He captured a state championship at No. 2 singles during his senior year and helped his team to a state championship as a sophomore.
Will Jung - (Battle Creek, Mich./Lakeview)
A four-year letterwinner at Lakeview High School, Jung was a three-time first-team all-conference and all-city selection. During his senior year, he was a first-team all-state selection and was a state finalist.
The Bluejays finished the 2010 season with a 7-15 overall record and a sixth-place finish in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.
