NAPERVILLE, Ill. – A trio of Bluejays were recognized by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin on Monday afternoon, as the 2025-26 All-CCIW Men's Basketball Team was announced.
Senior forward Dominic Trelenberg led the way for the Jays, unanimously earning a spot on the All-CCIW First Team. Trelenberg ranks 5th in the CCIW in scoring, with 18.2 points per game, and is the conference leader in minutes played, clocking in at 34.6 minutes played each night.
Trelenberg earns his second career All-CCIW honor, after being selected as a Second Team pick a year ago.
Sophomore forward Vinnie Adjahoungbeta earned his first All-CCIW recognition, as a Second Team honoree. Adjahoungbeta is the league's top three-point shooter, connecting on 47.4% of attempts from beyond the arc, and defensively ranks 4th in the CCIW with 23 blocked shots on the year.
Additionally, senior guard Sebastian Blachut was selected as Elmhurst's RESPECT Award recipient. The RESPECT Award is given to student-athletes from each CCIW institution who have distinguished themselves as key members of the team and athletic community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration, and Trust.
The Bluejays tip off in postseason action on Tuesday night, February 24, when Elmhurst hosts Carroll in the CCIW Men's Basketball Championship Quarterfinal, inside R.A. Faganel Hall. Tipoff with the Pioneers is set for 7:00 p.m.
