WEST DUNDEE, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's golf team sent its "B" squad to compete at the Judson Invite on September 5, turning in a solid showing at Randall Oaks Golf Club. The Bluejays carded a team total of 312 strokes, finishing 11th out of 28 teams in the large field.
Leading Elmhurst on the day was Lachlan Bowen, who fired a 76 (+5) to place in a tie for 24th individually. Just one shot behind was Gabriel Christopher, posting a 77 (+6) to finish tied for 32nd. Riley Taylor contributed a 79 (+8), tying for 52nd, while Brandon Yeh followed closely with an 80 (+9), tied for 62nd. Rounding out the scoring lineup was Carson Conklin, who recorded an 87 (+16) to place in a tie for 113th.
Carroll University claimed the team title with a score of 295 (+11), edging Wheaton (Ill.) by a single stroke. Elgin's Nooa Hakela and Marian (Wis.)'s Wyatt Pfeiffer shared medalist honors after each carding a 69 (-2) to top the individual leaderboard.
