KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The Elmhurst University men's golf team took part in a deep 45-team field at the Midwest Region Classic, hosted September 19 at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville. The Bluejays finished 30th overall with a team score of 315.
Nebraska Wesleyan claimed the tournament title with a six-under par 282, finishing 10 strokes clear of runner-up Augustana (292). DePauw rounded out the top three at 294.
Evan Daniels led Elmhurst with a round of 77, tying for 76th place in the 246-player field. He was followed closely by Anay Saxena, who carded a 78 to tie for 91st. William Davis and Bo Smith each shot 80 to share 137th place, while Quinn Ross added an 84 to tie for 196th and round out the team scoring.
Competing as an individual, Liam Eber also posted an 84, matching Ross for a tie at 196th.
