KENOSHA, Wis. - The Elmhurst University men's golf team put together a solid two-day effort at the Carthage Firebirds Fall Classic, finishing 10th in a competitive 19-team field. The Bluejays carded rounds of 302 and 307 for a 36-hole total of 609.

William Davis paced Elmhurst with a standout performance, shooting an even-par 72 in the opening round before closing with a 75 to finish at 147 (+3), good for a tie for 19th place individually. Bo Smith followed closely with rounds of 77 and 76 to post a 153 (+9), tying for 47th.

Anay Saxena turned in one of the team's steadiest second rounds, firing a 75 to pair with his opening 80, finishing at 155 (+11) in a tie for 57th. Evan Daniels contributed rounds of 76 and 81 to finish at 157 (+13), tied for 70th, while Quinn Ross rounded out the scoring with a 160 (+16) on rounds of 77 and 83, tying for 81st.

Individually, Elmhurst's Brandon Yeh competed unattached, shooting 82-82 for a 164 (+20) to tie for 94th.

Aurora University claimed the team title with a score of 568 (-8), three strokes ahead of Illinois Wesleyan (571, -5). Aurora's Jackson Hulsey earned medalist honors with a 134 (-10), highlighted by a first-round 65.
