NAPERVILLE, Ill. -
Lorrie Decker of the Elmhurst University women's bowling team earned CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning.
The senior earns her second conference honor of the season after finishing second at last weekend's at the Intercollegiate Singles Championship Sectionals in Addison, Ill. Her place qualified her to the ISC Championships in April, becoming the first Bluejay and just the second CCIW student-athlete to earn a spot at the national championships. Decker averaged 25 in her six games at the event, a new Bluejay record.
Decker and the Bluejay women's bowling team are set to host and compete in the 2025 CCIW Women's Bowling Championship on Saturday and Sunday, March 22-23, at Suburbanite Bowl in Westmont, Ill.
