ELMHURST, Ill. - Chiara O'Leary, a junior member of the Elmhurst University softball team, earned First Team All-CCIW honors as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

O'Leary was the standout leader of the Bluejays in multiple statistical categories, including both at the plate and in the circle. O'Leary led the Jays in innings pitched (99.2) and wins (five), while also leading Elmhurst in batting average (.381) and RBIs (18). Her batting average ranked 13th in the CCIW in the 2024 season, while her 43 hits also led Elmhurst and ranked seventh in the conference. O'Leary also struck out 66 batters on the season in the circle, ranking seventh in the CCIW. O'Leary earns her second career All-CCIW honor after being named to the second team in the 2023 season as a sophomore.

Alex Kiriakopoulos was Elmhurst's RESPECT Award recipient, given to student-athletes who have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution, and their community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust.
