ELMHURST, Ill. -Â The Elmhurst University men's tennis team dropped a non-conference match with McHenry County College by a score of 3-6 Thursday afternoon at the Brune Tennis Courts.
Elmhurst (3-2, 0-0 CCIW) dropped both doubles matchups, but fought back in singles to claim three victories in the defeat to the Scots.
Ben Cavka continued his strong play at No. 1 singles, defeating Andrew Burkey 6-2, 6-1, while teammate
Russell Reyes won at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-1 over Riley Ellegood of McHenry County College.
Yannis Varsamis claimed the other Bluejay victory at No. 5 singles, defeating Cory Freed 3-6, 6-1 (7-6).
