ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's tennis team dropped their opening match of the spring, 3-4, to the College of Lake County Wednesday afternoon at Brune Tennis Courts.

Elmhurst (2-1, 0-0 CCIW) split the two doubles matches and were even with the Lancers heading into singles, but singles wins on courts one, teo, and four ultimatley sealed the visitors victory over the Bluejays.

The doubles team of Charalampos Vasilopoulos and Muhammad Salam secured an 8-1 victory on court two, while Salam and Vasilopoulos also picked up both singles victories on courts three and five. Salam won his match over Memphis Galego of CLC 5-7, 7-5 (10-7) and Vasilopoulos defeated Eric Delgado of CLC 6-0, 0-6 (10-6).
