WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Elmhurst University's Ava David closed out her first appearance at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships by earning All-America honors with an eighth-place finish in the 200 meters. 

Running in the first heat of the finals, David finished the race in a time of 25.42 seconds. She placed eighth overall to earn her spot on the All-American podium. Nebraska Wesleyan's Isabella Hogue won the national title, crossing the finish line in 24.66 seconds. 

David qualified for the 200 finals on the first day of competition, winning the second heat with a school-record time of 25.26.
