WHEATON, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's track and field team totaled 85.5 points to finish fourth at Wheaton College's Don Church Twilight Invite.
The University of Chicago finished first in the team standings with 193 points while North Central College placed second with 176 points. Wheaton finished third with 131 points.
Elmhurst totaled 34 points in the sprints.
Huda Hussaini led the way with a pair of second-place finishes for the Bluejays. Hussaini broke her own school record in the 100 meters, placing second in 12.05 seconds. She added a second-place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 25.37 seconds.
Stacia Landry also added top-10 finishes in both races. Landry placed fifth in the 100 meters (12.47 seconds) and seventh in the 200 meters in 26.54 seconds.
Ava David scored a fifth-place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 26.46 seconds and added a second-place finish in the 400 meters, crossing the finish line in 1:01.24.
Hanna Matuszewski added a ninth-place finish in the 200 meters in 26.54 seconds.
The Bluejays' 4x100 relay squad of Landry, David, Matuszewski and Hussaini totaled 10 team points by winning the event in 48.51. The group broke their own school record in the process and moved into the top-20 times in the nation this season. The 4x400 team of

Lauren Mack and
Rachael Dickenson placed fifth with a time of 4:19.35.
The Bluejays added nine team points in the middle distance events.
Lauren Mack placed fifth in the 800 meters, finishing the race in 2:24.74.
Alyssa Rafuse scored a fourth-place finish in 4:53.28.
Three Bluejays scored top-10 finishes in the 3,000 meters.
Emily Clausen finished fourth in 10:58.35 while
Elita Spadlowski finished sixth in 11:1535.
Noelle Veome added a ninth-place finish in 11:39.74. In the hurdles,
Edith Mercado scored an eighth-place finish in the 400 hurdles, crossing the finish line in 1:13.28.
Elmhurst totaled 18 points in the jumps. Camaci placed fourth in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.52 meters.
Amanda Lams placed second in the long jump, leaping to a distance of 5.07 meters. She added a fourth-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 10.74 meters.
Kelsey Becker added an eighth-place finish for the Bluejays in the pole vault after clearing a height of 2.70 meters.
Elmhurst will compete at the 2021 CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championships next Friday (May 7).
