ELMHURST 4, ALLEGHENY 3 - Elmhurst rallied from a two-run deficit with four runs in the bottom of the sixth to earn a 4-3 win over Allegheny.

Trailing 2-0 with two runners on and only one out, Nauman entered the game and retired the next two batters, leaving the Bluejays only down by two.

The Bluejays' offense kicked into gear in the bottom of the sixth. Singles from Bella Masini and Meg Griffin gave the Bluejays two runners on base with only one out. Rose Wysocki's run-scoring single pulled the Bluejays to within a run. Griffin scored from third on a wild pitch to knot the score at two. After a Katie Boals walk, Clare Bukowski singled to right to drive in Wysocki. An error on Allegheny allowed Boals to come around and score to make the score 4-2 in favor of the Bluejays.

Nauman surrendered a run in the top of the seventh but stranded the tying run at second base to preserve the win. Nauman worked 1.2 innings in relief to earn the victory. She allowed two hits and one run while walking one and fanning one.

Stephanie Iori made the start for the Bluejays and took a no-decision. Iori tossed 5.1 innings and allowed just five hits and two runs. She walked one and struck out four.

Griffin recorded two hits to lead the Elmhurst offense.

ELMHURST 10, SOUTHERN MAINE 0 - Nauman sparkled in the Bluejays' 10-0 win over Southern Maine. The Elmhurst senior completely shut down the Huskies, facing the minimum 21 batters while tossing her second no-hitter in just three days. An Elmhurst error accounted for the only Southern Maine base runner.

The Huskies' Stefanie Stockwell opened the game by reaching base on an error, but was quickly erased trying to steal. Nauman sat down the next 20 straight batters, fanning eight along the way.

The Bluejays jumped out to a 4-0 lead with runs in the seconds and fifth innings and two runs in the third. Elmhurst plated six runs in the top of the seventh to blow the game open. Ten different Bluejays recorded hits to lead the balanced attack.

Ele Walter, Wysocki, and Bukowski totaled two hits apiece for the Bluejays. Bukowski also scored twice while also driving in a pair of runs.

Elmhurst returns home from Florida with a seven-game winning streak. The Bluejays resume play next Saturday (March 31) by welcoming Judson University to Salt Creek Park.
