KENOSHA, Wis. - The Elmhurst College men's tennis team completed the 2009 season by placing sixth at the CCIW Championships.
Elmhurst dropped their opening round-match 6-1 to Illinois Wesleyan University. The Bluejays' doubles team of Dave Douglass and Jarrod Kec scored the Bluejays' only point, scoring a 9-7 win at number one doubles.
The Bluejays dropped the fifth-place match to North Central College by a 6-3 decision. James White scored a 6-4, 6-1 win at number five singles and Justin Guenther scored a 6-2, 6-4 victory at number six singles. The doubles team of White and Robert Korsch scored an 8-3 victory at number three doubles.
