The Spartans scored three unearned runs in the top of the seventh to pull away. With two outs and two on, Jessica Scott grounded to second. The Bluejays tried to tag Martin advancing to second, but missed the tag, allowing Aurora to load the bases. An error on a dropped throw then opened the door for Aurora to score three runs.
