ELMHURST, Ill. – Elmhurst University men's lacrosse student-athlete Eli Spence has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® At-Large Team, earning Third Team recognition for his outstanding achievements in the classroom and in competition.
A senior environmental studies major, Spence compiled a 3.88 grade-point average while excelling as one of the Bluejays' top performers on the men's lacrosse team. His selection places him among the nation's premier student-athletes recognized through the prestigious CSC Academic All-America® program.
The CSC Academic All-America® At-Large Team recognizes student-athletes from sports that are not included in the organization's sport-specific Academic All-America® programs. Nominees are evaluated on both their academic accomplishments and athletic success, making the honor one of the highest distinctions a collegiate student-athlete can receive.
Spence was one of just 15 student-athletes selected to the NCAA Division III Third Team and one of only three men's lacrosse players recognized on the team. He joins an elite group of Division III student-athletes honored for their excellence both in the classroom and in athletic competition.
Spence's selection continues Elmhurst University's tradition of producing exceptional student-athletes who embody the department's commitment to excellence in academics, athletics, and leadership.
