ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's bowling team continued to excel in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, earning recognition as a National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic Scholar Team while placing five student-athletes on the organization's All-Academic Scholar-Athlete list.
To qualify for the NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team award, programs must maintain a cumulative team grade-point average of at least 3.20 during the academic year. Elmhurst posted a 3.393 team GPA, finishing among the 60 NCAA bowling programs nationwide to earn the distinction.
Individually, five Bluejays earned NTCA All-Academic Scholar-Athlete honors by maintaining a minimum 3.40 GPA throughout the academic year. Elmhurst's honorees included:
The NTCA recognized 405 student-athletes from 68 NCAA bowling programs as All-Academic Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year, celebrating those who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom while competing at the collegiate level.
The recognition reflects the continued commitment of the Elmhurst women's bowling program to achieving success both academically and athletically, as the Bluejays were honored alongside many of the nation's top collegiate bowling programs.
