NAPERVILLE, Ill. – For the second time in as many weeks, senior attacker Eli Spence was recognized as the CCIW Men's Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.

Spence helped to lead the Bluejays to an 11-10 road win over No. 19 Denison over the weekend, scoring a team-high five goals, including the game-winner late in the fourth quarter. The win was the first ever over a nationally-ranked program in Elmhurst history.

Spence currently leads the CCIW with an average of 4.0 goals, 4.5 assists, and 8.5 points per game, and is currently ranked among the top ten nationally in NCAA Division III in assists per game, and points per game.

The Bluejays look to keep the momentum rolling from their season-opening road trip on Saturday, when they make their Langhorst Field debut against Aurora. Faceoff with the Spartans is set for 1:00 p.m.
