Elmhurst University Athletics officially begins the 2025–26 season this week with seven teams opening play between August 29–31.
Women's Golf
Elmhurst opens the fall at the Firebird Fall Classic, hosted by Carthage at Ives Grove Golf Links in Sturtevant, Wis. The Bluejays tee off on Friday, Aug. 29 at 3:00 p.m. and conclude on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 9:00 a.m. CT.
The Bluejays are coming off a standout 2024–25 campaign highlighted by a victory at the Judson Invitational, a first-place finish at the CCIW Preview, and a runner-up showing at the CCIW Championship. Elmhurst added another team title in the spring at the Judson Invitational and closed the year with a second-place performance at the Carthage Invite.
Women's Soccer
The Bluejays begin their season on the road Friday, Aug. 29 at Concordia University Chicago. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. in River Forest, Ill. Elmhurst then travels to Rockford University on Sunday, Aug. 31 for a 1:00 p.m. non-conference matchup.
Elmhurst is coming off its most successful season in over two decades, finishing 8-9-2 overall and qualifying for the CCIW Tournament. The Bluejays earned league wins over Millikin, North Park, Illinois Wesleyan, and Carthage and posted an unbeaten five-match stretch in late September to fuel their postseason push.
Men's and Women's Cross Country
Both Bluejay squads open at the North Park Invitational on Friday, Aug. 29 at Schiller Woods in Chicago. The men's race begins at 4:00 p.m., followed by the women's race at 5:00 p.m. ET (4:00 p.m. CT).
In 2024, the women's team earned a runner-up finish at the Spartan Invitational, placed eighth at the Gil Dodds Invitational, and finished 14th at the NCAA Regional. The men's team took fifth at the Spartan Invitational, 10th at the Gil Dodds, and closed the year with a 22nd-place showing at the NCAA Regional.
Women's Volleyball
Elmhurst begins its 2025 campaign at the Albion Invitational with three matches in two days. The Bluejays face Anderson University (Ind.) on Friday, Aug. 29 at 7:00 p.m., then return Saturday, Aug. 30 for a 10:00 a.m. contest against Wisconsin Lutheran College before closing the weekend against host Albion College.
The Bluejays tallied double-digit victories in 2024, highlighted by a 7-3 run through September and notable non-conference wins over Lakeland, Lake Forest, Wartburg, and UW-River Falls.
Women's Tennis
The Bluejays open their fall slate on Saturday, Aug. 30 at Lake Forest College, with first serve scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CT.
Elmhurst looks to build experience after a rebuilding 2024 season, where a youthful roster gained significant match play against both CCIW and non-conference opponents.
Men's Soccer
Elmhurst kicks off its 2025 campaign at Langhorst Field on Friday, Aug. 29 at 7:00 p.m. against Aurora University. The Bluejays then travel to Rockford University on Sunday, Aug. 31 for a 3:30 p.m. contest.
The Bluejays finished 2024 with a 6-9-4 overall record, collecting non-conference wins over Lakeland, Lake Forest, Nebraska Wesleyan, and Dubuque, while drawing with Spalding, Illinois Wesleyan, and Augustana.
