GENEVA - The Elmhurst University women's track and field team closed out its most successful NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, securing a ninth-place team finish.

The day's biggest moment came in the 4x100-meter relay, where the team of Tiana Grady, Lauren Marshall, Hannah Schwarz, and Alyssa Busker delivered a blazing time of 45.41 seconds. In a final that saw the top four teams all break the previous Division III national record, Elmhurst finished second behind champion Wisconsin-La Crosse. The effort earned the Bluejays eight points and marked their highest-ever finish in the event at the national level, earning them First Team All-American honors.

Senior sprinter Alyssa Busker capped off her collegiate career in remarkable fashion, earning First Team All-American honors in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. Busker placed third in the 100 meters with a wind-aided time of 11.64 seconds, then followed it up with another third-place finish in the 200 meters, clocking 23.96 seconds. Both performances contributed a combined 12 points to the team total.

Elmhurst's 22 points were enough to secure ninth place in the final team standings, the best result in program history at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The Bluejays are taking home four First Team All-American honors (4x100m Relay, Busker in 100m and 200m, Paulina Tinajero in Long Jump) and one Second Team honor (Chloe Selmer, Long Jump).
