NEW ORLEANS - The Elmhurst University women's track and field team was well represented on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Midwest Region list, with seven Bluejays earning honors across five events.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Tiana Grady, Lauren Marshall, Hannah Schwarz, and Alyssa Busker claimed All-Region recognition after running a blazing 45.61. The mark not only topped the conference but solidified their place as one of the fastest quartets in the region and the nation, serving as DIII's best mark in 2025.
Busker continued her phenomenal senior season with individual All-Region honors in both the 100 and 200 meters. She clocked school-record times of 11.60 in the 100 meters and a 23.62 in the 200 meters, ranking first in the Midwest Region for both events. Joining Busker among the region's best was senior hurdler Nakala Nadeau, who posted a time of 14.25 in the 100-meter hurdles to rank third and secure her spot on the All-Region list.
In the field events, freshmen and sophomores made their presence felt. Freshman Chloe Selmer and sophomore Paulina Tinajero each recorded a mark of 5.84 meters in the long jump, third best in the region.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
