INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Seven total Bluejays (five individuals, one relay squad) have been selected to compete at next weekend's NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships, as announced by the NCAA Friday evening.

Alyssa Busker (100m, 200m), Lauren Marshall (100m), Nakala Nadeau (100m Hurdles), Paulina Tinajero (Long Jump), and Chloe Selmer (Long Jump) will represent Elmhurst on the national level, while the 4x100m Relay squad of Marshall, Busker, Tiana Grady, and Hannah Schwarz will also compete in Ohio.

Busker, one of the top sprinters in the nation, qualified for both the 100m and 200m events with top-five marks in each. Busker ran a school-record 11.60 at last weekend's St. Francis Fighting Chance meet, and is the fourth best mark in the nation. She also owns the school record in the 200m, running a time of 23.62 en route to a championship at the 2025 CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the second best mark in DIII. Busker will be making her debut at the outdoor championships at the DIII level.

Marshall earned a spot in the 100m event after qualifying with a personal-best time of 11.82 at the outdoor season-opening Yellowjacket Collegiate Open. The mark is tied for the 21st-best time in the nation. Marshall will compete in an individual event for the first time in her Elmhurst career after appearing in the 4x100m Relay in 2023 and 2024.

Nadeau took full advantage of the Augustana Last Chance Qualifier this past Wednesday, running a season-best time of 14.25 to make it into the field with the 21st-best time in DIII this season. She will be making her fourth-straight appearance at the outdoor championships after qualifying in each of 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Tinajero and Selmer each qualified with matching school-record marks of 5.84m, each achieved in the month of May. Tinajero lept the mark to capture the CCIW Championship in the long jump just two weeks ago at the conference championships, while Selmer achieved the mark at this past Wednesday's Augustana Last Chance Invite. Each will be making their debuts at the outdoor championships.

For the fourth-straight event, Elmhurst will have a 4x100m Relay team competing, with this year's squad consisting of Marshall, Busker, Schwarz, and Grady. They enter the 2025 championships as the top team in the field, running a nations-best time of 45.61 at the Beach Invite on April 17. The mark also stands as an Elmhurst school record, CCIW record, and the second-best mark ever ran in the event in the history of DIII.

The 2025 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships occur next Thursday-Saturday, May 22-24, at the SPIRE Institute's Outdoor Track & Field facility in Geneva, Ohio.
