MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - The Elmhurst University women's lacrosse team traveled to Cornell College for a Saturday afternoon game day.

The Bluejays (2-2), were led by Gracie Eastman as she scored three goals and added three assists. 

The Rams (2-2), were led by by the combination of Brynn Miroslavich and Sabrina Ibanez as both had four goals and two assists. 

The Rams would kick off the game  with three straight goals to take a early 3-0 lead. The Jays would get one back with the Rams again adding on to make it a 4-1 game. Eastman and Grace Lorkiewicz would both score within a minute of each other and bring the game back to 4-3. Cornell would add two more goals while Hannah Jacob would get on the bord for the Bluejays to bring the busy First quarter to the end with Cornell leading 6-4. No goals were scored until late into the Second quarter as Eastman would score her second of the day, however Cornell would add three goals in the last few minutes of the half to make it 8-5. Both teams would trade goals in the Third quarter to make it 9-6 in favor of the Rams. The Rams would start off the Fourth quarter with a goal followed by Eastman third of the day. Cornell would add two more goals while Ashley Kay Sardon would try and get the Jays back into the game but the Rams would add two more to win 14-8.

The Bluejays are back in action on Wednesday, March 12th as they host Lawrence University at 6:00pm.
