ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's lacrosse team hosted Lawarence University on Wednesday night, March 12th.

The Bluejays (3-2) were led by Gracie Eastman as she scored six goals and added three assists, while Andrea Murtland would score five goals. 

The Vikings (0-1) were led by Lydia Lueck who scored three goals and an assist. 

The First quarter would start well for the Jays as they opened up the game with two early goals.The Vikings would answer with a goal a couple of minutes later making it 2-1 in favor of the Jays. Eastman and Murtland wuld both score in the following minutes to push their lead back up to three. The Vikings would again answer back scoring a goal and just after that goal the Murtland would answer right back keeping the lead at three. Both teams would score one more goal in the First bringing the score to 6-3 in favor of the Bluejays. The Second quarter was all Jays as they would score all six goals to push their lead to 12-3. 

In the Third quarter the Bluejays would continue where they left off scoring three straight goals pushing the leads to 12. The Vikings would get two goals back jut before the end of the quarter making the score 15-5 in favor of the Bluejays. The Fourth quarter was just like the Second as the Bluejays would score three goals finishing the game 18-5.

The Bluejays are back in action on Saturday, March 15th as they host Milwaukee School of Engineering at 3:30 pm
