FOND DU LAC, Wis. - The Elmhurst University women's lacrosse team headed to Marian University for their first road game of the season. 

The Bluejays (1-1) were led by Gracie Eastman and Zoe Valdevenito both scoring two goals. 

The Sabers (1-2) were led by Nicole Stachon who scored five goals and added an assist. 

In the First quarter the Sabers and Bluejays would both pot a player up goal to make it 1-1 just after the 10 minute mark. Marian would add two more just before the end of the quarter to make it 3-1 Sabers. in the Second quarter the Sabers would add another pair of goals to make it 5-1 all the way down to five minutes remaining. The Jays would get one back with a player up toi make it 5-2 Sabers going into halftime. 

 In the Third quarter, the Bluejays would add two goals to bring the score to 5-4 in favor of the Sabers. The Sabers would add another to push their lead to two. The Jays would cut the lead back down to one with just under ten minutes remaining in the Fourth quarter but the Sabers would answer back to once again puh their lead back to two. The Jays would then again answer quickly to take the lead back again to one, but the Sabers yet again would answer to take the lead back to two. The Jays would get  a late goal but it was to late as Marian would win 8-7.

The Bluejays are back in action on Tuesday, March 4th as they travel to Illinois Institute of Technology at 7:00pm.
