KENOSHA, Wis. - The Elmhurst University women's track and field team made history at the 2025 CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championships, capturing their first-ever CCIW conference title.
The Bluejays secured multiple individual and relay titles, set new records, and delivered one of the most memorable performances in program history with a dominant 160-point performance—the highest total for the winning team at the conference championship since 2019. A multitude of Bluejays earned the highest conference honors at the meet, with
Alyssa Busker earning the 2025 CCIW Women's Track Student-Athlete of the Meet honors. Chloe Selmer was named the CCIW First-Year Field Student-Athlete of the Meet, while the Bluejays' coaches earned CCIW Women's Coaching Staff of the Year for the third time in the past four seasons.

Esther Brown and
Molly Roberts eached earned CCIW Elite 26 honors, honoring the All-CCIW student-athletes with the highest GPA's at the meet.
Leading the charge in the sprints, Busker put on a spectacular show, winning the 55m dash with a time of 6.99, setting a new school record, a CCIW Championship record, and posting the fourth-fastest time in NCAA DIII history. Teammate Lauren Marshall followed closely, taking second place with a time of 7.06, the second-fastest mark in school history. Busker continued her dominance in the 200m dash, securing another CCIW title with a championship-record time of 24.31. Marshall placed fifth in 25.20, while Carmela Woods took eighth in 25.72, both earning All-CCIW honors. Woods also placed fifth in the 400m dash with a personal-best time of 57.65.
In the middle-distance events, Molly Roberts had a strong showing, placing fifth in the 800m run with a personal-best time of 2:22.90, the fifth-fastest mark in school history. Nayeli Villegas followed in sixth place with a time of 2:24.71, securing All-CCIW honors. Roberts continued her impressive performance in the mile, finishing third in 5:15.26, a personal best and the sixth-fastest time in school history. Esther Brown also contributed to the scoring, placing eighth in 5:23.54. Roberts later placed eighth in the 3000m run, clocking 10:43.26 to earn another All-CCIW distinction.
The hurdles events saw more standout performances, with Tiana Grady winning the 55m hurdles in 8.26, setting a new school record and securing the CCIW title. Nakala Nadeau and Brooke Greaves both placed third and fourth, respectively, with identical times of 8.41, while Anna Andretich finished sixth in 8.73, all earning All-CCIW honors.
The 4x400m relay team of Woods, Marshall, Busker, and Sadie Hartmann took first place in 3:57.63, the second-fastest time in school history. The distance medley relay team of Brown, Hartmann, Villegas, and Roberts placed second with a time of 12:36.16, ranking as the fifth-fastest performance in school history.
The Bluejays dominated the jumping events, led by Paulina Tinajero's historic performance in the long jump. She took first place with a leap of 5.89m, setting a new school record, a CCIW Championship record, and a personal best. Selmer followed in second place with a mark of 5.81m, while Marshall placed third at 5.67m, and Vanessa Carr finished sixth at 5.43m, all earning All-CCIW honors. In the triple jump, Andretich and Carr tied for fourth with jumps of 11.06m. The high jump saw a trio of Bluejays tying for second, as Angelina Camaci, Hailey Caraway, and Greaves all cleared 1.55m. Caylah Boyd finished sixth with a jump of 1.50m, with all four earning All-CCIW honors. In the pole vault, Kate Weber set a new school record with a clearance of 3.54m to finish second, while Kelsey Rothas took fifth with 3.34m.
In the pentathlon, Andretich placed seventh with 2,731 points, adding another All-CCIW finish to her name.
UP NEXT
Elmhurst will take on a multitude of last chance meets next weekend, looking to bolster their NCAA qualifying marks before taking on the NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships in two weeks time.
