ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's lacrosse team hosted Hanover College for their first game of the season.
The Bluejays (1-0) were led by
Gracie Eastman as she scored six goals and added an assist for seven total points. While
Corinna Salmon would add a goal and an assist and goalkeeper
Jacq Vanoni would recorder the win while making eight saves.
The Panthers (0-2) were led by Abby Mensing who scored two goals.
The Bluejays would start off hot by scoring four straight goals to start the game with three via Eastman. Hanover would get one back while Eastman would answer again making it 5-1 at the end of the First quarter. The Second quarter would be a different story as the Panthers would score two goals to the Bluejays one cutting the lead down and making it 6-3 at halftime. From there on out it was all the Bluejays as they were able to score five straight goals as they scored five straight goals to take home the win 11-3.

The Bluejays are back in action on Saturday, March 1st as they travel to Marian University for their second game of the season.
