CHICAGO, IL- The Elmhurst University women's track and field team competed in multiple sprint and hurdle events at the Blue Demon Holiday Invite, recording several finals appearances and top-five finishes.

In the 60 meters preliminaries, sophomore Brooke Greaves posted a time of 8.13, finishing 10th overall. Greaves recorded the same 8.13 time while competing in Heat 2 of the event.

Elmhurst earned a podium finish in the 200 meters, as junior Tiana Grady placed third overall with a time of 25.34. Grady also finished third in Section 3 of the 200 meters, matching her overall placement and time of 25.34.

In the 60 hurdles preliminaries, Greaves turned in a strong run, placing third overall with a time of 8.87, while Grady finished fourth with a time of 9.01. Greaves placed third in Heat 2 of the preliminaries with the same 8.87 mark, and Grady recorded her 9.01 time in Heat 1, placing fourth in that heat.

Both athletes advanced to the 60 hurdles finals, where Greaves earned a fourth-place finish with a time of 9.02, and Grady followed closely behind, finishing fifth in 9.08.
