NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's volleyball team closed out its 2025 regular season in fitting fashion Wednesday night, defeating North Central College 3–1 (25–18, 14–25, 27–25, 26–24) to send its senior class off with a hard-fought road victory.

The Bluejays opened the match strong, claiming the first set behind sharp serving and balanced offensive execution. After North Central evened the match with a dominant second set, Elmhurst responded with composure, grinding out two straight extra-point wins in the third and fourth sets to secure the match.

Paige Belfield led the way with 16 kills, attacking efficiently and providing a steady offensive presence throughout. Keely Larson added seven kills and six aces, sparking several key momentum swings from the service line. Defensively, Alexis Casey anchored the back row with 18 digs, while the Bluejays' blocking unit came through in timely fashion to stifle the Cardinals' late pushes.

The win marked a meaningful end to the regular season for Elmhurst's seniors, who leave behind a legacy of leadership and resilience. The Bluejays finished the 2025 regular season campaign with a 10–17 overall record and a 3–5 mark in conference play, capped by an emphatic performance that reflected their determination and togetherness.
