DUBUQUE, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team traveled to University of Dubuque for a Wednesday night game 

The Bluejays (5-1-2), goals came from Alan Lopez-Paredes 57', assisted by Caden Sultzbaugh, and Maciej Rzadkosz 59', and assisted by Ryan Nguyen.  Goalkeeper Carlos Garcia made eight saves earning the clean sheet.

The Spartans (3-2-1), Zach Floss led the team in shots with four, three of which were on target.

The first half was an even affair as both teams had five shots, none of which hit the back of the net. The Bluejays would strike twice in the span of two minutes with goals from Lopez-Paredes in the 57' and Rzadkosz in the 59'. Aside from that small window of attacking for the Bluejays, the Spartans put the pressure on as they took 11 shots in the second half with none reaching the back of the net. This would carry the Bluejays to a 2-0 victory.
