Box Score DANVILLE, Ken. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team played their second game in Kentucky on Sunday morning against Spalding University.
The Bluejays (2-1-2), lone goal came from
Maciej Rzadkosz in the 29', he would also had six shots on the day along with
Ryan Nguyen would add five shots on his own. While goalkeeper
Niyen Ruffin would make three saves on the day
The Golden Eagles (1-2-1), lone goal came from Same Mulume in the 36' Mustafa Almohammedawi would lead the team in shots with three and goalkeeper Micha Mattes would make eight saves.
This game would get underway quickly as both teams would receive yellow cards in the ten minutes in the match. From there the Bluejays would take a 1-0 lead from the help of a Rzadkosz goal in the 29'. The Golden Eagles would equalize the game at 1-1, in the 29' minute from the help of Mulume in the 36'. Both teams would have six shots in the first half. In the second half the Bluejays would lead the Golden Eagles in offense with ten shots to four. Both team would also combine for over nine yellow cards and a red card by game end in this 1-1 draw.
