Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst men's lacrosse team took down CCIW foe Augustana College on Saturday afternoon at Langhorst Field.
Bluejays (10-2, 2-0 CCIW), were led by a combination of
Fischer Son (4 goals, 1 assist),
Hunter Hernandez (5 goals), and
Chris Haycock (3 goals, 2 assists).
Eli Spence added a goal and three assist, while
Sam Hoff added three assist and
Brenden Crouse added a goal and two assists.
Owen Eckes,
Logan Erisman, and
Ryan Swank all scored a goal, while
Pete Grebe and
Ethan Stepanek both added an assist.
Tony Vazquez added a goal and went 14-16 in faceoffs, while
Andrew Lacksonen made six saves and earned his ninth win of the season.
Vikings (3-7, 0-2 CCIW), Jake Moore as he scored the lone goal of the day.
The Bluejays dominated the game form start to finish against the Vikings in the 18-1 victory. The Jays led 9-0 after the first quarter and continued to roll until the end of the game. A couple key game notes for the Bluejays, they went 22-22 on clear attempts on the day and out shot the Vikings 51-27.

The Bluejays will be back in action as they will travel to Illinois Wesleyan University on Saturday, April 20th at 1:00 pm.
