Lexington, Va. - The Elmhurst men's lacrosse team dropped a tough match-up at #11 Washington and Lee on Wednesday night.
Bluejays (6-2, 0-0 CCIW), were led by
Eli Spence on offense for the night as he tallied four goal on nine shots.
Hunter Hernandez add three goals of his own, with
Kaden Ames,
Brenden Crouse, and
Ethan Stepanek all added one goal as well on the evening.
Parker O'Leary and
Chris Haycock each had one assist on the night as well.
#11 Generals (5-3, 1-0 ODAC), were led by Alex Brown as he scored seven goal on the night and goalkeeper Nick De Cain erned the win making five saves in 41 minutes of game time.
It was a very tough start for the Bluejays as they would find themselves down 10-0 in the second quarter before they would score three straight to end the second quarter down 10-3. In the third the Blueyjays would start to make a comeback with another quick three goals making it 11-6, but this would be as close as the Bluejays would get as they would go on to drop this one 22-10.
