KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jonathan Zapinski, a graduate member of the Elmhurst University men's basketball team, was named to the 2024 NABC – Reese's Division III College All-Star Game roster as announced by the coaching organization Monday afternoon.
Comprised of 20 senior student-athletes, Zapinski earned the honor thanks to a stellar final year as a Bluejay. Zapinski made the most of his graduate year, helping lead the Bluejays to a second-place finish in the CCIW and leading the Bluejays to a third CCIW tournament title and an appearance in the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball tournament.
Zapinski will lace it up for the Bluejays one last time this Saturday, March 16, with the all-star game scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. ET (11:30 a.m. CT) as part of the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind. The game will be streamed, with with
D3hoops.com's Pat Coleman and Dave McHugh on the call. Streaming information will be available at a later date.
The game will be coached by Steve Moore, former longtime head coach at Wooster, and Webb Hatch, former coach at Marymount and Frostburg State.
