ELMHURST, Ill. – Senior Dominic Trelenberg was recognized as one of the top players in the area on Monday, as the Elmhurst guard was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region Third Team.

Trelenberg led the Jays with 18.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, as the Bluejays finished the year with a 19-9 overall record and an appearance in the CCIW Men's Basketball Tournament championship game.

The Westchester native was named to the All-CCIW First Team earlier this month, after finishing 6th in the CCIW in scoring, and 5th in three-point shooting, connecting at a 39.5% percentage from beyond the arc. Trelenberg also led the conference and ranked 41st nationally in minutes played, seeing the court an average of 35.3 minutes each night.
