MEQUON, Wis. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team played their last non-conference game of the season against Concordia University (Wis.).
The Bluejays (6-8-3, 0-5-1 CCIW),
Alan Lopez-Paredes scored the first goal for the Bluejays in the 10' assisted by
Evan Thornton, then
David Balase would score in the 40' assisted by
Loretto Lopez and again in the 62'.
Cameron Crawford would make three saves and Caarlos Garcia would make a save in their combined clean sheet.
The Falcons (4-9-2, 4-6-0 NACC), were led by Alexis Diaz as he made 10 saves on the night.
The Bluejays controlled the game as they were able to take nine shots in the first half with the help of an early goal from Lopez-Paredes in the 10', the Falcons wouldn't go away quietly as they were able to muster six shots of their own to make it 1-0 at halftime. The Jays were able to add two more goal from Balase in the 40' and 62' to put the Falcons away. The Jays would take 15 shots in the second half compared to the Falcons five to end the night with a 3-0 win.

The Bluejays will return to conference action as they travel to Carthage College on Saturday, Oct. 26th for a 3:30 pm CT start time.
