ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's volleyball team swept Dominican University, 3-0, Tuesday evening inside R.A. Faganel Hall.
Elmhurst (11-8, 1-4 CCIW) used a strong attack and better defense to slow the Stars (9-9, 2-3 NACC) and take the Tuesday evening non-conference contest.
The win marked head coach
Cameron Andrew's 100th career victory. He amassed 65 victories with this evening's opponent, and 35 wins so far in three seasons at the helm of the Bluejays.
Elmhurst hit .404 as a team, their second-highest total of the season, hitting above .300 in all three sets with double-digit kills in each.
Jada Wiley led the Jays with another double-double of 13 kills and 10 digs, also adding a pair of solo blocks on the evening.
Keely Larson tallied nine kills, while
Elise Rossing and
Blair Johnson each tallied eight.
