ELMHURST, Ill. -Â The Elmhurst University women's volleyball team took down UW-River Falls, 3-1, Saturday afternoon in the final match of the Elmhurst University Invitational.
Elmhurst (10-8, 1-4 CCIW) was able to overpower UWRF (9-14, 1-2 WIAC), with three Bluejays contributing double-digit kills and serving up nine aces in the match.
Outside hitters
Jada Wiley and
Elise Rossing led the way for the Jays with 15 and 12 kills, respectively, while freshman
Ashley Clardy notched 10 kills. Middle hitters
Keely Larson and
Bryanna Stanford each totaled two block assists, while
Gianna Ptaszek and
Kellyn Kennedy had 10 and 13 digs each for Elmhurst. Kennedy recorded her first double-double of the seaosn with 18 assists and the team-leading 13 digs.Â
The Bluejays hit .326 in the match while holding the Falcons to a .188 clip, forcing 23 errors.Â
