Naperville Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team lost at North Central 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Bluejays (1-6-2)  produced five shots on the day, two of which came from Ilija Jerinic, The Bluejays also had five corner kicks on the day. 

The Cardinals (8-1) were led in scoring by Tommaso Polidori, Matteo Innocenti, Jack Bonavia, and Tyler Dawson all of which had one goal on the day. Aidan Westerberg, Jack Fairwood and  Davis Nelson also got their names in the box score with an assist each. 

Both sides started strong but the Cardinals scored in the 19th minute which took us to the end of the first half 1-0. In the second half, the Cardinals poured on the offense scoring three goals at the 51st, 79th and 87th minutes to end the game 4-0. 

UP NEXT

The Bluejays will be in action next on Saturday Sep. 23rd at North Cental College to begin CCIW play.
