Angola Ind. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team fell, 2-0, in a non-conference match at Trine University on Saturday afternoon.
The Bluejays (1-5-1) had 15 total shots, four from
Jonathan Mueller, and three from
Maciej Rzadkosz. The team also totaled eight corner kicks in the match.
The Thunder (1-2-2) had two goals, both from Tyler Murphy 51st and 82nd minute, and both were assisted by Britton Sala. As a team the Thunder had six total shots and three corner kicks.
The first half both teams had their fair share of opportunities. Going into the second half the Thunder struck first with a goal just a few minutes in by Tyler Murphy, and the Bluejays would have many great chances in the middle of the second half but in the 82nd minute Tyler Murphy would end the Bluejays' chances, closing the the game in favor of the home team.
