Milwaukee Wis. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team lost a tough game, 2-1, at Milwaukee School of Engineering Wednesday night.
The Bluejays (1-4-1) got a late goal from
Maciej Rzadkosz, but the Bluejays couldn't complete the comeback. The team also had nine total shots, with four coming from
Jonathan Mueller, eight corner kicks and seven saves from
Aaron The.
The Raiders (3-1-1) found goals from Nico Picha and Lukas Schwenke, and they also totaled 22 shots as a team with shots being spread out very evenly across the match.
The game started very evenly with both teams having quality chances in the first minutes of the game, but towards the end of the first half Picha scored in 37th minute to send the Bluejays into the half down 1-0.Â
In the second half the Raiders came out fast as they had many chance and finally Schweneke tallied a goal in the 57th minute, but the bluejays came back minutes later getting equal chances but unable to find the back of the net,. Finally in the 80th minute Rzadkosz scored a goal of off a
Brady Lucas shot that hit the goal post. The Bluejays tried to push for an equalizing goal but couldn't come up with one in the final minutes.Â
