ELMHURST, Ill. -Â Keep up with all of the Elmhurst University athletic teams and take a look at the week ahead with the Bluejay Weekly.
MEN'S LACROSSE
The Elmhurst University men's lacrosse team took a trip down to Texas last week, coming back to the midwest with a pair of wins over Southwestern University and Whittier College to improve their overall record to 7-1 on the season, the best record in the CCIW.
In Elmhurst's 15-13 victory over Southwestern, The Bluejays were led byÂ
Eli Spence with three goals and three assists. Grebe finished with three goals and one assist, whileÂ
Ryan Swank,Â
Chris Haycock, Ames and Dybowski each contributed a pair of goals in the win.Â
In the 10-8 victory over Whittier, Elmhurst was led by Spence with four goals and one assist. Following closely behind wasÂ
Kaden Ames with three goals and an assist, whileÂ

Ethan Stepanek andÂ
Chris Haycock each added in one goal in the win for the Bluejays.Â
Jake Grebe led the team in assists with three, whileÂ
Tony Vazquez grabbed a game-high 11 groundballs.
This week, the team will wrap up non-conference action at Langhorst Field on Wednesday, March 29 with a 7:30 p.m. matchup against Calvin University. Then, the Bluejays will enter conference action on the road against Carthage College on Saturday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE
After a week off of competition over spring break, the Elmhurst University women's lacrosse team will be back in action twice this week. First, the Bluejays will hit the road for their final road non-conference game against Edgewood College at 5:00 p.m. Then, Elmhurst will head back to Langhorst Field to wrap up non-conference action against Franklin College starting at 1:00 p.m.
BASEBALL
The Bluejay baseball team enjoyed a successful Florida trip last week, going 5-1 against their competition in the Sunshine state to enter conference play with an 8-7 overall record.Â
After their Saturday afternoon doubleheader against Dominican University was postponed due to weather, the Bluejays will begin their CCIW schedule at home with a doubleheader against Carroll University beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Butterfield Park on Saturday, April 1. Elmhurst will wrap up their weekend with a matchup against Augustana College (IL) on Sunday, April 2 at 1:00 p.m. CT.
SOFTBALL
After the team's Florida trip saw the Bluejays go 3-6 against tough competition, the Bluejay softball team will look to bounce back this week with a weekend full of non-conference doubleheaders.
On Friday, March 31, the Bluejays head to Whitewater, Wis. for a doubleheader against the Warhawks beginning at 1:00 p.m. CT, and will stay in Wisconsin on Saturday for a doubleheader against Beloit College, also beginning at 1:00 p.m. CT. Elmhurst will wrap up the weekend with a doubleheader against Lake Forest College on Sunday, April 2 at 1:00 p.m.
TRACK AND FIELD
After a successful indoor season, the Bluejay track and field will take their talents outdoors to begin the second half of their season this weekend in a pair of events.
To begin, Elmhurst will travel distance runners to Washington University in St. Louis for the WashU Distance Carnival on Friday, March 31st. Then, the Bluejays will head to Millikin for the Big Blue Open in Decatur, Ill. on Saturday, April 1.Â
