CINCINNATI, Ohio. -Â The Elmhurst University men's basketball team continued to win Saturday afternoon, defeating Mount St. Joseph's 73-56 on the road.
Elmhurst (3-0) remained unblemished on the season, cruising to their second-straight victory of double-digits.Â
Five players were in double-digit scoring, with
Ocean Johnson leading the way with 16 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field, while
Tagen Pearson and
Jonathan Zapinski matched each other with 12 points, while Zapinski grabbed a team-leading five rebounds.
Quinn Pemberton and
Matt Woloch each tallied 10 points, with Pemberton adding five rebounds and three assists.
Mount St. Joseph's (0-4) was held to just 37.5% shooting from the field, and couldn't stop the Bluejays under the basket as Elmhurst scored 28 points in the paint.
UP NEXT
The Bluejays will continue their road stretch after the Thanksgiving break, traveling to The University of Olivet next Saturday, Nov. 25 for a 5:00 p.m. CT tip-off.
