Chicago Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team lost at North Park, 5-1, on Wednesday night.
The Bluejays (2-7-2,1-2 CCIW) were led in scoring by Ronald Dearborn, and in assists by
Brady Lucas. The Bluejays had eight shots on the night, three of which came from
Jonathan Mueller and two from
Adan Ramirez.
The Vikings (7-3-1, 3-0 CCIW) had five goals in the game, two of which came from William de Carro, with one coming from Michal Dejworek, Emil Svenander and Johan Bjorck. With assists coming from Dejworek, de Carro, Hugo Neborg, Teo Helm and Carson Belcher.
The Vikings started off quick with two goals in the first 20 minutes of action, but the Bluejays would cut their lead down to one in the last few minutes of the first half. But that would be as close as the Bluejays would get as the Vikings would add two more quick goals at the start of the second half and one more at the end of the match to end 5-1.
