Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst University Men's Soccer Team defeated Millikin 4-0, at home on Saturday afternoon at Langhorst Field.
The Bluejays (4-8-2, 3-3 CCIW) were led in goal scoring by
Luis Aviles, who scored two goals in the first seven minutes of the match,
Adan Ramirez also added a goal in the 24th minute and
Ilija Jerinic added a Penality Kick goal in the 72nd minute.
Jonathan Mueller and
Roland Dearborn both netted assists in the win as well. The Bluejays had 17 shots on the day four of which cam from Aviles, and added eight corner kicks as well along with
Aaron The claiming another clean sheet on in his campaign making three saves.
The Big Blue (5-7-1, 1-4 CCIW) finished with eight shots on the day and one corner kick.
The Bluejays started extremely fast with Aviles scoring his first goal in the first 30 seconds of the match and then netting his second goal in the 7th minute. The Bluejays would add on as Ramirez would add another goal in the 24th minute, the Bluejays would go into the half with a 3-0 lead and in the 72nd minute Jerinic would at a penalty goal to make it 4-0 and that's how the game would finish.

The Bluejays will play at home on Monday October 16th, to play Concordia University Wisconsin at Langhorst Field.
