ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's volleyball team fell in four sets to Augustana College (IL) Wednesday evening.
Elmhurst (11-6 1-3 CCIW) fought back after an opening-set loss to knot the match at one set a piece, but were unable to regain any momentum and eventually fell, three sets to one.
The Bluejays were led by graduate student outside
Aly Reardon, who tallied 14 kills and 17 digs for her third double-double of the season.
Lucy Anderson and
Elise Rossing also tallied ten kills for Elmhurst, while
Payton Ceh notched a season-high 25 digs.
Kellyn Kennedy also tallied a double-double in the match, tallying 25 assists and 11 digs on the evening.
Augustana (14-4, 3-2 CCIW) found 15 kills from Emily Schipper, and the Vikings as a whole tallied 90 digs in the match.

Elmhurst will stay on the road for a 7:00 p.m. CT first serve at Illinois Wesleyan on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
