Grinnell, Iowa – The Elmhurst University men's soccer team defeated Grinnell College, 1-0, at Springer Field to remain undefeated.

After a scoreless first half, the Bluejays (2-0) were eager to strike first. Cailan Loebel scored the sole goal of the contest in the 67^th minute of play.

Noah Reed earned the shutout with four saves, while Carter Benson tallied two saves for the Pioneers (1-1).

Elmhurst returns to Langhorst Field for its next contest to host Dominican on Wednesday, September 7 at 7:30 p.m.
