MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Elmhurst University women's track and field team totaled 54 points to place fifth out of 17 teams at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invite.

Amanda Lams won both the long jump and triple jump. In the long jump, she leaped to a distance of 5.47 meters to finish first overall. In the triple jump, Lams recorded a winning leap of 11.47 meters. Marisa Brown (10.73 meters) and Erin Matthias (10.30 meters) finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in the triple jump. Kween Jean added a ninth-place finish in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.45 meters.
 
A pair of Bluejays earned top-five finishes in the 100 hurdles. Edith Mercado placed fourth in 15.76 seconds while Nakala Nadeau finished fifth in 15.98 seconds. Gianna Konieczny scored a fifth-place finish in the 400 hurdles, finishing the race in 1:16.83.
 
Karmyn Flesch and Sadie Hartman both scored team points in the 400 meters. Flesch placed third in 1:02.70 while Hartmann added a sixth-place finish in 1:03.79. Elizabeth Jones added a 10th-place finish in the 800 meters, crossing the finish line in 2:39.21.  Elmhurst added two top-10 finishes in the 200 meters. Hanna Matuszewski placed seventh in 27.26 seconds while Mercado finished 10th in 27.63 seconds. Lauren Marshall and Matuszewski both scored top-seven finishes in the 100 meters. Marshall placed sixth in 13.07 seconds while Matuszewski placed seventh in 13.14 seconds.
