ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's lacrosse team fell to Concordia University Chicago, dropping the contest 15-2 at Langhorst Field.
The Cougars created a 14-0 lead with 12:51 left to play before
Gracie Eastman scored a pair of back-to-back goals in the fourth quarter to put the Bluejays on the board.

Sophia Micos and
Gaby Castillo each picked up two groundballs for Elmhurst (0-4) in the loss.
Concordia Chicago (1-1) was led by Nina Naes with three goals and two assists. Sabra Brouillet and Emily Cyrwus finished with three goals apiece, while Madison Perkins added a goal and an assist in the win for the Cougars. Perkins also grabbed a game-high five groundballs.
The Cougars outshot the Bluejays 32 to 9 and cleared 13-of-15 attempts successfully compared to Elmhurst's 9-of-16.
Salmon collected 14 saves, while Concordia-Chicago's Ryan McGee earned the win with four saves.
Elmhurst travels to Carroll for its first conference matchup of the year on Friday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m.
