NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Elmhurst University bowling team returned to action this weekend by competing at the CCIW Baker Meet. The Bluejays posted a 2-6 record in eight Baker matches.
Elmhurst opened the two-day tournament with an 0-5 mark. The Bluejays fell 917-709 to Aurora before dropping an 875-846 decision to Carroll. The Bluejays were upended by North Central 897-780 and then fell to Augustana 957-811. The Bluejays closed the day with an 851-790 loss to Carthage.
Elmhurst kicked off day two with a convincing 785-554 victory over Illinois Wesleyan University before falling 944-908 to Marian University. The Bluejays closed the tournament by defeating Lakeland College 738-715.
Elmhurst competes at Lewis' University's Flyer Classic on February 10-13.
