ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's lacrosse team dropped its season-opener at Langhorst Field to DePauw University, falling 19-0.
The Tigers (2-0) were led by Emma Kennedy who finished with seven goals. Following closely behind was Graesen Campbell with three goals and one assist, while Bria Randolph added in one goal and four assists in the win.
The Bluejays (0-1) totaled three shots and successfully cleared 7-of-18 attempts.
Marie Corpuz picked up a team-high four ground balls in the loss.
Elmhurst's
Corinna Salmon collected 12 saves, while DePauw's Lydia Hollis and Aubrey Bower earned the win with two saves.
The Bluejays travel to Lake Forest College for their next contest on Tuesday, March 1 at 4:30 p.m.
